The Skywalk development team consists of a number of talented engineers and specialists. With their wide range of interests in sailing, paragliding and kiting, they are able to bring new ways of thinking to sail development.
Manfred Kistler, Dipl.-Ing. Aircraft Engineering, was the original designer and developer of the Parasail.
His design and development input has resulted in bringing a number of other successful products to the market.
With aerodynamic testing in the Daimler wind tunnel in Stuttgart, the SKYWALK group, headed by Manfred Kistler laid the foundation for WINGAKER's technology.
WINGAKER sales are headed by Lothar J. Weber, an experienced Regatta sailor and professional yacht skipper. Lothar has logged more hours using the WINGAKER than anyone in the world. He holds a personal record of deploying a WINGAKER continuously for over 8 days, covering 1405 nautical miles, on a delivery trip from Cape Town, South Africa to the Caribbean. His extensive experience makes him an invaluable consultant.
Katharina Baumgartner and the service-oriented Skywalk office facilitate fast and reliable order processing.
For repairs, trained seamstresses and a fully-equipped workshop are available at Skywalk in Marquartstein, Germany.
